A pair of hand-colored wood engraving prints depicting scenes from San Francisco's Chinatown, both dating from the 1870s. The prints were initially published in Harper's Weekly. One depicts worshippers at an altar in a Chinese 'Joss-House' (temple) and the other depicts theatergoers watching a performance at a Chinese theater. High quality prints, both in great condition.
