Lot of eight pieces. 1) $1,000 City and County of San Francisco Fire Protection Bond, 1908, signed by Mayor Edward R. Taylor. Red border with vignette of battleships entering the bay. Punch cancelled, but Taylor's signature is untouched. 14" x 9.5" with center fold and creases. 2) Constitution and By-Laws for the Pacific Coast Marine Firemen's Union from 1899. 30 pages plus unnumbered pages at the end listing wages and hours. Has pages listing payment on dues. One page is the Certificate of Membership (No. 840) for Martin Tierney. Leather covers. 5.75" x 4" 3) 1907 Constitution, By-Laws and Rules of Order of the International Brotherhood of Stationary Fireman, Local No. 86 of San Francisco. 22 pages. Softcover. Brown. 6" x 4" 4) Four programs for annual balls held by SF fire departments: 1929, 1930, and two copies of 1931. All have residue from where they were once glued in an album. 6.75" x 3.75" 5) Black-and-white photograph (7.75" x 5.75") showing the SF Post Office, Custom House and a nighttime view of a fire boat in action.
