Henry Haight, uncle of California's 10th governor Henry Huntley Haight and the man for whom Haight Street in San Francisco is named for, notarized this debt funding document that was signed by San Francisco board of commissioners in 1868, including John Middleton, William Hooper, William Lent, Charles Hitchcock and Charles Low. There is a blue Washington fifty cent revenue stamp affixed to the document.
A nice historical piece. Please see photos for more details. California San Francisco 1868
