San Juan Pacific Railway Company Bond $100 Issued 1908. Number 103. First Mortgage six per cent sinking fund forty year gold bond. Signed by President Frank Brown. Not cancelled. Green border, black print, and a locomotive vignette with "The Old Mission Route" printed below. 14.5 x 10" One full pages of coupons attached. The San Juan Pacific Railway began in 1907 and provided rail service from the San Juan Portland Cement Plant to the Southern Pacific at Chittenden, Santa Cruz County. The San Juan Pacific Railway was operating a seven mile line, the "Mission Route", to San Juan Bautista. They planned on expanding their line to Salinas, Hollister and Watsonville.
