Rare Marin County mining stock! Location printed at bottom center. Inc. Oct. 1879. No. 45, issued for 1,000 shares to Ai Peck on Feb. 23rd, 1880 in San Francisco. Signed by C.B. Higgins as president and E.A. Peck as secretary. Not cancelled. Simple design with black border and print, fancy company logo. Printed by AJ Leary, SF. 4 x 9.25" Folds. An article in the Marin Journal (Oct. 23rd, 1879) mentions three Marin County mining companies forming, all with the same corporate officers: San Pedro, San Diego, and San Carlos.
