Half-sheet from the Savage Assay Office. Dateline Virginia, Nevada, May 2 1868. Addressed to Charles Bonner, Savage superintendent, asking him to pay M.N. McBee $100. Signed by C.J. Robinson. Signed by McBee on reverse. The 1871 Storey directory lists M.N. McBee as a collector. 5" x 8" Spindle hole. Charles Bonner previously worked for the Gould & Curry Mine.
