Lot of 16. In addition to a rare purple check (No. 10), there are ten issued NV Bank of SF checks from the 1890s, two different style Bank of CA checks (No. 1644, unissued, and No. 2, issued), two unissued payroll slips from the 1880s, and an issued Bank of CA (crossed out Wells Fargo) check from 1881. The Savage Mine was the major producing mine on the Comstock in the late 1860s. It was located between the Gould & Curry Mine and the Hale & Norcross Mine in SW Virginia City.
