A group of 4 documents related to the Savage Mining Company of the Comstock Lode. 1) 1916 Report to Stockholders for the Savage / Hale & Norcross/ Chollar/ Potosi Company. 22 pp. with two cross-sectional maps and printed photographs. Very nice condition. 2) Quarterly Assessment of Proceeds of the Mines, for the quarter ending Sept. 1869. The tax collector taxed proceeds from the Savage of $38,479 with a tax bill to the company of $577.11. Tears to the right side tape repaired on the verso. 3) Savage Mining Company receipt datelined Virginia, Nev. Nov. 29, 1890. List of purchases from John Gillig, Mill and Mining Supplies in Virginia City. 4) Latham & King, stockbrokers, trade report from San Francisco, 1878, shows a purchase of 25 shares of Savage at a price of $22. Trades done by Carson Bank. They also bought 10 shares of Gould & Curry and sold 10 shares of Julia. Virginia City Nevada 1900's
