Territorial. Dated May 2, 1863. Number 42 for 10 shares. Issued to Louis Glasson and signed by secretary and president Gustavus Wetzler. Incorporated in San Francisco on March 28, 1863. Tied by 25c Revenue stamp. Printed by Drouauller's Litho of San Francisco. In the 1863 San Francisco Directory we learn that the office of this mining company was at 804 Montgomery. The president had an office at 420 Montgomery in San Francisco. He was a real estate and money manager. 1863 was a major time for Comstock and Aurora Mining Companies to Incorporate. There was a Scott Consolidated Mining Company in the Gold Hill District listed in the 1864 Nevada Directory. Although all this is all circumstantial evidence, this assuredly was Nevada Territorial. There is no mention of the company on the Internet. Fine condition. No edge issues, discoloration, or in holes. Slight dog ear on upper left. Heavy horizontal fold, especially on left.
