Very rare. Found in the Homestake hoard. Inc. in Dakota. No. 564, issued to JF Lindner for 500 shares in 1886 in Deadwood. Signed by Seth Bullock as president and A. Fox as secretary. Not cancelled. Red print. 4 x 7.75" Folds, pinholes. Bullock formed the original Iron Hill mine property at Carbonate Camp in Lawrence County (now a ghost town), 5 miles from Deadwood. A June 17th, 1885 Deadwood Pioneer Times article details the sale of mine property from the Iron Hill to the Segregated Iron Hill. Seth Bullock was the first sheriff of Deadwood and ran a hardware store. He arrived in Deadwood the day before Wild Bill Hickok was shot and killed. Bullock became close friends with Teddy Roosevelt, and later became US Marshal for South Dakota.
