Located in 1862! Location: Storey County, Nev. (printed at bottom center). Incorporated May 1868. #912, issued for 20 shares to L. P. Dexter & Co., trustee, on January 12, 1874. (The date was determined by the five assessment stamps on the reverse.) Signed by president J. E. de la Montagnie and secretary Henry Boyle. Not cancelled. Black border and print. Vignette at upper right of a well-dressed man who looks rather like a Senator. Printed by Britton & Rey. Pinholes, folds, clean. Comstock district. Drexler and G. W. Huffaker drove 500 head of cattle into Washoe Valley in 1859. In 1871 Huffaker said that prices of mining stocks were untenable, there was no way they could ever be that rich. Yet he made a fortune selling bonanza stocks at high prices. He died in 1899 a millionaire. History of Drexler & Co. and notes on mine.
