Laton Anton Huffman arrived in the Montana Territory, in 1879, ten years before Montana would become a state. A frontier photographer, Huffman (1854 1931) captured the spirit of the American West like no other artist. Equally comfortable photographing Plains Indians and working cowboys, Huffman worked both in the studio and out on the open range, carrying his camera on horseback as he documented untamed Western landscapes and the last of the buffalo herds.1) Laton Anton Huffman (1854-1931) framed (23.25" x 27.5") hand colored photo print of "Bull Train, Main & Park Streets, Miles City, 1881". 2) L.
