Seven and Nine Years Among the Camanches and Apaches, an autobiography by Edwin Eastman, 1879. In 30 chapters, 309 pp., Eastman writes of his experience when his father exchanged their farm in Missouri for California real estate. While enroute they were attacked by Indians, some of his family was killed and he and his wife were captured. In the book, he accounts what happened while they were being held captive by the Camanches and Apaches for nine years. Spine slightly worn at bottom, bumped lower corners, some staining on pages, otherwise good.
