This is a Sharps four barrel pistol S/N 133 marked on the bottom flat of the barrel and on the bottom of the grip strap; indicating a very early manufacture date. This little gem is a second model noted as (2a1a). It is chambered for .30 cal. rimfire, the bores are bright and rifled! The metal finish on the barrels is spectacular with a beautiful blue only seen in daylight. The grips are one piece walnut retaining the original finish. It has a type 1 hammer checkering pattern, and type 3 firing pin spring, and a type 3 hammer design. It functions perfectly after 160 years. The brass frame has the correct "C. Sharps" markings. This gun is an antique and no attempt has been made to fire this gun to confirm its mechanical integrity. Nor should this gun be fired without the examination by a qualified gunsmith. Any attempt to fire an antique gun is at the risk of the owner and not consistent with the value of the firearm. No sales to New York, New Jersey, California, and Hawaii. This is an antique, non FFL firearm. Please see photo for details. (Ref. Sharps Firearms, Sellers, pp. 125-143).
