A 1939 Eubanks Leather Holster Co. (Boise, Idaho) leather shoulder holster for a police 38 special. This particular holster belonged to Clayton Phillips, an FBI agent under J. Edgar Hoover and Reno Police Chief. This is a high quality quick release brown leather shoulder holster like others worn by FBI agents in the 1930s and 1940s. Eubanks Leather Co. was in business from 1939-50 and changed hands a few times before being reformed by the family as the Idaho Leather Co. (still in business today). Holster is in excellent shape considering its age and would compliment a gun or police collection. State: City: Date: 1930s FHWAC#: 42750
