At R4, this is a rare Leadville Drug bottle. c1888-1889 only. 6.1" tall, clear, mint. Tiny base wear at the front bottom. Silas Canfield was one of three Canfields in the drug business in Leadville in the 1880's (D.N. Canfield and William Canfield). It must be assumed that there is a familial relationship, though none is mentioned in Preble. Silas was the first of the group in Leadville, getting his start about 1880 and had one of the earliest pharmacist certificates (#22). State:Colorado City:Leadville Date: ID#46954
