Unique name for a mining company! Inc. in Colorado. No. 131, issued for 500 shares to H.C. Swain on April 1st, 1882 in Leadville. Signed by vice president James Streeter and secretary FA Tappan. Stamped "Stock Full Paid and Non-Assessable." Black border and print, tan background, and mining vignette. No printer listed. 6.5 x 11" Deep folds, creases, some toning. Not listed in C&L. According to a March 4th, 1881 Leadville Democrat article, the company was incorporated to mine in Lake, Park, and Summit Counties. No other information found. Ken Prag Collection
