Three mining vignettes including on one left side showing underground and above ground workings. Printed by Ferd. Meyer. A Territorial Enterprise article dated November 1, 1865 that listed this mine in the Clan Alpine Mining District. The company had a ten stamp mill in operation. The mill was located at the mouth of Cherry Creek where the mining camp of Alpine was laid out. They were working the McGregor Ledge. Mordy and McGaughey paint an dark picture. They report the Silver Lode Mill was only in operation for a few days and the camp was abandoned by 1867. Background on the mine, district included.
