4x Certificates of stock from various Mining Companies in the Alpine & Amador County, Silver Mountain District, California.

When Silver Mountain (Alpine County) was first settled by Norwegians in 1858, they called it Konigsberg and it stayed a small township until 1863, when rich silver silver ore was discovered, the town grew quickly to 3000 people by the mid 1860's, and was renamed to Silver Mountain in 1865. It took the first county seat for the Alpine County in 1864 and kept it until 1875. Other discoveries in nearby camps left the township abandoned by 1886.

Apparently Frank Cooper, the president of the Coast Range Gold and Silver Mining Company was keen to invest, we found two certificates issued to him for two different mine sites in the Silver Mountain District, Amador County.
