Very attractive silver splash specimen10.11 troy ozs, from the Mayrsohn Collection, possibly from the El Mochito mine. This "splash" specimen appears to be floor spill from dore ingot pouring, and is the type of thing given to mining executives on special visits. We had it analyzed at American Assay, with six sample sites. The average is: 898.1 fine silver, 001.10 fine gold, 007.3 fine copper. It is interesting to note that with the wide array of colors, the variability was relatively homogeneous: Silver 889.87 fine to 922.85 fine; gold 001.04 fine to 001.17 fine; copper 006.30 fine to 009.42 fine.
