"Colorado Towns and Resorts. Issued by Hotel Committee." WF Robinson & Co., Denver. String binding missing, needs to be rebound. 6.25 x 9" Unpaginated, but approx. 40 pages. Goes through Colorado towns alphabetically, from Aspen to Telluride, with a description of the town on one page and a photo on the opposite. The Silver Triennial Conclave of the Knights Templar, held in Denver in August 1892, was a grand national gathering of the Masonic order, celebrating the 25th anniversary (hence "Silver") of the Triennial Conclaves. The event brought thousands of uniformed Knights and dignitaries from across the United States, featuring elaborate parades, military-style drills, and ornate public ceremonies, all staged against the dramatic backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. Denver, newly prosperous from mining wealth, used the occasion to showcase itself as a modern Western metropolis, decorating the city in banners, electric lights, and Templar insignia. This was the event where the giant 500 ounce stunning silver ingot was made that Holabird-Kagin sold in 2012 for $87,000 plus Buyer's Premium!
