# 278, issued until Dec 31, 1901 to Mr. C M Warner, Treasurer Randsburg Railway Co. signed Otto Mears president, yellow card stock, ornate title in script writing, no printer. The SIlverton RR was the first of RR's built by Otto Mears in 1887. In the Silverton Northern RR Co. began operation as the third RR built by Mears. The railroads were never merged, but operated as one branch sharing equipment. Pass issued to rep. of the Randsburg Railway Co.. !893 gold was discovered in Goler canyon Calif. creating the Yellow Aster gold mine . Due the production a RR was needed and 1897 the Randsburg Railway was created connecting to A & P at Kramer Junction. Started in Oct and completed inDec 1897. Acquired by A.T.& S.F. in 1903.
