A wanted poster for the three DeAutremont brothers following their attempted 1923 train robbery, dated October 11th, 1923. This robbery would become known as the Siskiyou Massacre, and following a four-year nationwide manhunt, the brothers were sentenced to life at the Oregon State Penitentiary. The poster offers a $14,400 reward for information leading to the arrest of the three robbers and declares that four men were murdered during the crime. It includes photographs, handwriting samples, and detailed physical descriptions of the brothers. Framed. Excellent piece for any enthusiast of outlaw history.
