Lot of 6 Alaska mining stereoviews and 1 magazine advertisement for a British Columbia Gold Mining Company. The two standout stereoviews are from Underwood & Underwood: one shows the main street of Wrangel, Alaska, "famous for its saloons", and shows a saloon, the "Sample Room" in the foreground; the other shows men on a railroad track in the mountains and is titled "American railway climbing and tunneling the gold-bearing mountains." Mautz lists Underwood & Underwood operating in Ottowa, Kansas in 1903. The other four stereoviews are early colored views: Acorage [sic] Alaska 1898, Miner's Cabin-Klondike Alaska 1898, Miner's Camp in Alaska 1898, A Miner's Cabin Concert 1898. In addition to these stereoviews is a magazine ad for the Boston and British Columbia Gold Mining Company.
