Signed by the president (EG Knight) and secretary. Not cancelled. Black border ad print, gold seal, and 3 mining vignettes. Folds. 5.75 x 10" According to The Mining World, Volume 32 (1910), the company was developing 3 veins of excellent grade ore. 1500 ft. of development has been done. WM Freeman is manager. Other references list it as in Ballarat, a ghost town in Inyo County near Death Valley. The Inyo Independent (Jan. 3, 1913) lists the companies claims as the following: Merry Christmas, New Year, Oro Fino, and Owl Lodes in Snow Canyon, Argus Range, Modock Mining District.
