Early 1900's glass plate reprint photograph of Mrs. Thompson and Harry Hawkins in front of the Snowshoe Thompson cabin. It is from the Hawkins family through Walter Mulcahey. Snowshoe is a legend in Nevada and California for delivering mail and medicine on Norwegian Snowshoes in the 1850's from Placerville to the remote areas of Carson Valley, Nevada.
