Corporate seal stamp embosser from the Soledad Placer Company. Located in L.A. county, gold was first mined in 1864 for this area. This area was considered very rare for gold mining. Stamp is in pristine condition, fully functional. The black color is period wrinkle-finish, handle is gloss with an adjustment wheel. Measures 6" long by 7" high extended, about 1" in width plus the feet. The front feet do not have the rubber cushions the rear feet posses. Historical piece.
