Very rare; we have not offered this before! UNLISTED in Chandler. "Storey County, State of Nevada" printed under title. Inc. Sept. 1878. No. 374 issued to Cope & Davis for 30 shares in San Francisco in 1878. Signed by Jos. Clark as president and EC Masten as secretary. Not cancelled. Simple design by noted African-American lithographer GT Brown. Two corners missing, toning, soiling on right, pinholes. According to the Sept. 25, 1878 Yerington Times, this company was located in the Flowery District south of the Lady Bryan and Rodgers and was going to be worked by Capt. Kelly, who was also the supt. of the Lady Bryan. Their plan was to work both mines through the Lady Bryan shaft to reduce expenses. In December, they were working on the 380ft. level of the Lady Bryan to intersect this mine.
