Great condition with only minor issues. Printed by Britton & Rey, SF. Allegorical woman next to fancy company logo. one assessment stamp on reverse. This company is a take off of the well known Standard Mining Company. According to Burchard, it was this mine was shut down by 1882! However in 1878 things were different. The mine was said to have 'great value' being only 300' from the main workings [Pacific Coast Mining Review and Stock Ledger, 1878] Wales Palmer was president of the Golden State and Miners Iron Works. Sanky was a professional mining secretary.
