Lot of two incredible items. 1) The stock certificate is one of two known. The Spenazuma Gold Mining and Milling Company was formed in 1898 by Richard C. Flower to fraudulently sell stock in a non-existent mine. The scheme was exposed in 1899 by newspaperman George H. Smalley. Cert. No. 1699 for 2,000 shares to JS Manfull in 1899. Signed by Whitehead and Wosher. 2) Eleven page coroner's document featuring testimony of people who witnessed a shooting in or near Spenazuma. 1898. Signed by coroner and clerk, "Q: Where to you reside? A: at Spenazuma.... Q: How came he by his death. A: He was shot." Great content and waiting for a little historical research. City: Graham County State: Arizona Date: 1898, 1899 ID# 37550
