In June 1908, the St Ives, Velvet, Gold Horn, and Potlatch mining companies consolidated their buildings under the title of the Goldfield Merger Mines Company. 1) St. Ives Gold Mining & Milling Company. 15 pieces. a) Six John S. Cook & Co. bank checks, 1905-1908. Three of them are attached to company vouchers. Issued to Goldfield Assay Office, Goldfield Pub. Co., etc. b) Six other company vouchers, 1905-1907. One has an Esmeralda County Personal Property Tax receipt attached. c) Three other pieces: c.1907 postcard showing sacks of ore at the mine; 1905 foreman's time check; and modern color photographic print showing the Merger Shaft (8.5 x 11"). 2) Goldfield Merger Mining Company.
