Sheet of 3 unused stocks for the Steam-Boat Helen, "about to be rebuilt by Henry Burden, of the City of Troy, County of Rensselaer, and State of New-York, agreeable to the tenor of a Prospectus issued by him the 18th day of August, 1834." 8 x 10.25" Some toning, wear to edges. The Nautical Magazine of 1834 describes the first trip of this steam-boat to Albany from New York on July 14th, 1834. The trip took 9 hours due to a mechanical failure.
