Fantastic grouping of railroad and locomotive postcards. Includes three real photo black and white postcards featuring locomotives ,one of which also showcases the men standing outside the locomotive along the tracks. A second in the grouping is a beautiful black and white photo of a locomotive and is published by The Locomotive Publishing Co., Ltd, London. The third black and white photo card is published by W. Leslie Good, 30, Meadowhill Rd. Kings Norton. Grouping includes a beautiful color card of St. Peter's Dome, Cripple Creek Short Line, published by Frank S. Thayer, Denver. A nice card of a train descending Mt. Washington, Jacob's Ladder published by Chisholm Bros., Portland, ME. and postmarked 1905. Great color cards of two areas in Colorado with locomotives traveling through the snow are a fun addition. One is "Snow Cuts on Rollins Pass, Moffat Road, Colo." postmarked 1909, and the second is "Snow Drifts on Pike's Peak Cog Road,Colo." postmarked 1916.
