This is one of several Steerage tickets, Havana to Aspinwall, on the trip of the SSCA from New York to Aspinwall before the return journey in which the ship sank. Included is an original, self-identified passenger receipt for the SSCA leaving New York for the voyage south to Aspinwall. This passenger may have been making the trip to California. The name is somewhat obscured, but appears to be Augustus Crak (?). The passenger receipts and a few tickets were found in Purser Hull's safe. The only tickets found were Havana to Aspinwall, and this is the only Second Cabin ticket of the group of perhaps ten readable tickets and another ten or so that were not readable, and may be the "back" of the tickets that may have split into two parts along a laminate surface in card stock. This lot includes three possible laminate sections of what may be a "back of ticket" portion.
