A collection of 9 includes original sheet music featuring Stephen Foster's melodies, all published by Firth, Pond & Co. of New York, some signed, c1852-57. All have thread stitched spines (unless noted) and gorgeous covers suitable for framing, two with beautifully detailed illustrations including: "Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair," No. 26, poignant illustration of a woman with long hair, signed by Foster, c1854, 7 pp., light foxing; and "Willie We Have Missed You,"No. 25, illustration of young woman hugging her beau who just came in the door, signed by Foster, c1854, 6 pp., stain upper left, light foxing.
