This stereoview by Dudley Flanders has an open front mount is orange, no signage. The back mount is pink "D.P. Flanders'/Photographic Album/of/Trip Through Arizona". In light pencil "MARICOPA WELLS" "Oct 1874". Not cataloged by Rowe. (ref. Arizona Stereographs 1865-1930 By Rowe, p.269). Minor foxing left side, low color contrast, very good condition. The scene depicted are several men in front of an adobe structure. Maricopa Wells was a watering hole for travelers on the Southern Emigrant Trail to California. It was later abandoned after the completion of the railroad. Arizona c.1874
