The photographer Henry Buehman worked first in Prescott and later in Tucson, Arizona. He is most noted for developing stereoviews of children and babies for proud mothers. From his "Arizona Scenes" series are: Indian Boy (#7 possibly) c.1875-1878 orange mount front/ lavender mount on back "Buehman Co. Tucson, A.T." right border, and "Arizona Scenes" left border. "Papago" written in ink on the back. The second view is of a baby in a cradleboard on a chair (#5 papoose in cradle basket on chair in studio from the Rowe catalog, not marked on card). Orange mount front/ lavender mount back C.1878-1881. On both borders "Arizona Scenes by H. Buehman". Both images have good contrast with some light foxing in the borders. (ref. Arizona Stereographs 1865-1930 by Rowe pp. 259, 260). Arizona
