This lot has nine pieces of stone tools: there are two arrow straightening stones of course stone; one large axe head 5.5 n. epoxied together from Missouri; one square shaped tool for percussion flaking about 2 in.; four sharp tools unknown purposes from Kansas and Oklahoma; and finally a bicave discoidal stone 3 in. in diameter 1.5 deep with a circular depression on both sides of viscous material. The side profile gives enough room to fit two fingers grasp. The purpose of this stone is unknown. This stone was found in St. Clair County, Ill. These stones are frequently found along the Illinois River and bordering the Mississippi River as this one was found.
