This lot has eight stone tools. The largest is a polished hematite stone 2.75 in./ 70 mm X 4.5 in./ 114 mm found in Burns Township, Shiawassee County, Michigan in 1901. There is an axe from Mason County, Illinois 3.5 in./ 89 mm X 2 in./ 51 mm. A flat stone with two drill holes cone tapered on both sides, 2.5in./ 64 mm X 2 in./ 51 mm. A disk with a center hole, no taper about 1.5 in./ 39 mm in diameter from Wisconsin. Other flat stones are from Illinois and Racine County, Wisconsin. From the Gary Bracken collection.
