Two page letter signed by James W. McCullough, who wants to talk to a Pittsburgh banker about a gold mine 16 miles from Summit Station. We think this is the area on the old summit where the old house still stands. Their address was down at the Donner Post Office. McCullough claims the ore is worth $30/ton and he has 2000 tons blocked out.
