Badger Clark, born in 1883, wrote "A Cowboy's Prayer," one of the best known Western poems, is included in this work. This edition is illustrated by E. A. Hoffman. Early Cowboy poetry work. Inscription on the insides reads, "To John Allan Fulton, who will 'understand' being to the manor born." Signature is not legible, perhaps Willie E. Clark. Spine is loose, but all pages and covers are strongly attached. Covers in very good condition. (Fulton Collection)
