Magnificent and superlative large bolo with green carved turquoise set in a custom silver setting with red coral adornment. 7" long, 4" wide, signed on an elevated silver panel on reverse "L. Prince" with his monogram as well. The deep green-blue turquoise is spectacular, as is the quality of the carved stone itself. It is unclear if the stone was carved by a second, unidentified person. Most experts would certainly say "Leekya style" but we may never know who this master stone carver was. Purchased in the 1970s by collector Frank Lewton. 298 grams [] [] [] [] []
