Lot of 16, 26 mm, cardboard discs with metal edging. Circa 1910, these advertising pieces had domino tiles on the reverse. Players include: Huggins (St. Louis Cardinals), Turner (Cleveland Naps), Engle (Red Sox), Gaspar (Reds), Erwin (Boston Superbas), Murphy (Phil A's), Street (Yankees),Leever (Pirates), Marquard (Giants), Rucker (Brooklyn Superbas), McIntire (Cubs)(2), Fromme (Reds), Bescher (Reds), Lobert (Phillies), Leifield (Pirates) Inserted in packs of Sweet Caporal cigarettes between 1909 and 1912, unlike the P2 pins produced in multiple factories, these pins were manufactured in a sole New York plant (Factory No. 30, 2nd Dist., NY). This may explain why fewer discs have surfaced compared to the pins.
