Found in Candelaria. We can never know who T. Wright was. But the Untied States Census gives us two possibilities. One is Timothy Wright who was listed as a miner in the 1900 census and a prospector in the 1910 census living in Tuscarora. Tuscarora is in Elko County and quite a distance from Candelaria. The other is Thomas Wright who was a quartz miner living at Rye Patch in Humboldt County in 1910. Again, quite a ways from Candelaria. There was no appropriate T. Wright listed in the 1880 census. Still, miners were known to follow the silver! Picked off of an open mining pit crusher by a heavy duty magnet before they damaged the machinery.
