Lot of 7. 1) Rare Genoa Fluming Company RN-D check. Issued in 1876. Lumber was flumed down the Carson River to Empire and then shipped up to the Comstock mines. 2) Six Carson Lumber Company checks signed by DL Bliss. They are all dateline Virginia, Nev. 1872-73. Signed Carson Lumber a/c per Bliss. Three of the stamps are hand cancelled by DL Bliss. This was the predecessor to the Carson & Tahoe Lumber & Fluming Company that operated at Lake Tahoe.
