Beautiful vignette of prospectors next to a waterfall. "Humboldt Co. NT" underprint. Lith. Britton * Co., San Francisco. Definitely a territorial stock form issued 5 years after Nevada had become a state. 25 cent US IR stamp at lower left. 5.5 x 9.5" Folds, pinholes, ben corner. 1864 reports from San Francisco News letter and The Pacific Mining Journal state that the Great Basin Mining Company was working two extensions on the Tallulah Mine. Reports in that publication also state that the Tallulah is a great prospect. Newspaper articles on CDNC for the company exist up until 1872. The 1869 Langley SF directory lists George W.
