1-2) Citizens Street Railroad Company of Shelby County, Tennessee, two issued certificates in different formats. One issued in 1886, is black on white with a horse drawn trolley. Red pen cancels. Second one is issued for 100 shares in 1887. Two horses pulling a streetcar. Green. Black on creme. Pen and cut cancels. 3-4) Same railroad, two of the same certificates unissued, a black and a green one. 5) Clarksville Railway & Light Co stock issued in 1909 for 90 1/4 shares. No vignette. Cancelled. 6) City & Suburban Railway Co stock, unissued. Black on creme. Court Square, Memphis fountain vignette. 7. This is bond cert. #257, issued in 1912, First Mortgage, 5%, 25 year gold bond. Signed by Charles R. Young as president. Some coupons are missing, so the bearer collected their dividends. There is no vignette. Black on white with green borders. Good condition. Very rare. 8. # 29. $1000 First Mortgage Bond. All 20 coupons still attached. Pink seal (faded red). Dateline 1858. Incorporated 1856. Object to mine and transport on the Cumberland River to Nashville. Coal train vignette. Signed by WH Smith and president Michaels Burns. Heavy soiling. Large rips. 21 x 14.5".
