Period nineteenth century wood door, trimmed at top with original Victorian hardware. Marked "Territorial Enterprise, Est 1858" and "Welcome". This piece was salvaged from the V&T building during restoration. Its origin is unknown, and presently thought to be from one of the early-day Virginia City museums. It is unknown if it actually came from the territorial Enterprise building. 24 x 75", the door originally would have stood to at least 78". The current hinge location (also very old) is not the same as the original hinge location. Comes with two small framed pieces, a 1960's TE newspaper and print of Mark Twain (Sam Clemens).
