Sept 17, 1891 Territorial Topic and rare blank back broadside supplement, 9x6" containing prominent stacked headlines, "Let'er Pop/Another National Horse Race/to Come Off Next/Tuesday/Everybody Get Ready." This broadside was published by a rare Native American Publication, Territorial Topic and covers the upcoming Oklahoma Land Rush of 1891, also known as the Land Run of 1891. It took place on Sept 22, 1891 and involved the opening of lands previously belonging to the Iowa, Fox, Potawatomi and Shawnee tribes, allowing settlers to claim 160 acre homesteads through a race to stake their claim, this event is considered one of the major Oklahoma Land Runs. Also, upper left front page ad, "Jack the Ripper/Has lost his rep as a slasher."
