Lot of 2 different. "El Paso Route." Chartered in 1871 with the purpose of building a southern transcontinental railroad between Marshall, Texas, and San Diego, California. T&P never reached San Diego; instead it met the Southern Pacific at Sierra Blanca, Texas, in 1881. Jay Gould was an investor. 1) 1890 pass to J. St. Koslowsky. Red logo. Black print on blue cardstock. Signed by 3rd VP/general manager. 2) 1892 pass to EC Lapey. Signed by 3rd VP/general manager. Brown print on white cardstock, ornate logo.
